Redcliff Ski Lodge is located in Redcliff, Colorado just 9 miles south of Minturn on Hwy 24 along the 75 mile long "Top of the Rockies National Scenic Byway" one of only 53 roads in the U.S. designated as a National Scenic byway due to its extraordinary scenic beauty and importance in history. Redcliff Ski lodge is next to Mango's Restaurant in the historic mining town of Redcliff. Redcliff is the oldest incorporated town in Eagle County and was its first county seat. Many original buildings remain allowing you to imagine life during Colorado's old mining days.
Redcliff Ski lodge consists of 3 buildings: a newly rebuilt front building with three 2 bedroom/ 2 bath units, a back building with one 2 story 3 bedroom/ 3 bath unit and two 1 bedroom/ bath units, plus a separate 3 bedroom 2/ bath home.
Step out the backdoor of Red cliff ski lodge and enter some of the most popular trails leading to Shrine Mountain (on Shrine Pass Road) and Vail Pass, Battle Mountain, Mount of the Holy Cross and the surrounding White River National Forest. Redcliff is located on the backside of Vail's famous backbowls which allows you to mountain bike or cross country ski the 12 miles to Vail over Shrine Pass. Also hike, bike, horseback ride, four wheel drive, snowmobile, snowshoe along the many other trails. Fish the numerous scenic lakes and streams or whitewater raft. Sports climb crags just outside Redcliff. Enjoy the surrounding beauty of the red quarzite cliffs for which Redcliff is named, view wildflowers and glimpse wildlife.
